In order to use these files in any popular video editor simply rename the .mod extension to .mpg

You may need to enable show or unhide extensions on both Mac and Windows platforms in order for this method to work.

.mod files will also work fine with no alteration in imovie.

Hi there,

I have tried simply changing the file extension from '.mod' to something else (i.e.: '.avi', '.mpg', etc), but this does nothing.

When I try to run it with Windows Media Player (in either '.mod' format or one of the others), it simply shows the screen shot of the start of the clip, and doesn't play at all.

Suggestions?
